Shadows of dark deeds

Shadows of dark deeds

The night is dark and dead
Everyone asleep in bed
So no one sees
 The shadows of dark deeds

They go from house to house
Sly and quiet as a mouse
Into your home
Asleep, alone

They go to see
If one forbidden day you’ll be
A dreaded dark doer just like them
 Doomed forever to be condemned

Living in the dead of night
Darkness, fear the only sight
They seek the other doomed to be
The black deadly doers of dark deeds

The fear the light
So shine yours bright
You know they yearn
For the love you earn

From family and friend
Who love you to the end
They seek to destroy
 What brings you great joy
So to heal their broken hearts
They must return to where it starts
And embark on the journey of light
They must use all their wit and might

To win the race and receive the love of grace
And by doing this
They will find eternal happiness

The dark deeds of night
Are no match for the light
That now shines in tier hearts
 Where the transformation starts

So follow the stars
Break through the bars
And you’ll find the place
Were you’ll end the race

For you’ve reached your goal
So rest your soul
For you are no longer broken
With last words spoken

You’ll finally rest
As you did your best.
